>>24515732it's not that outlandish like if u read a book on fantasy genre there are a certain amount of stories, i forget them all bu there's like "the epic quest" which saves the world lord of rings etc., the sword and sorcery adventure like conan, there's the portal fantasy where someone from our world ends up in the fantasy world yankee in king arthur's court, john carter, and idk a couple others but you really can fit more narratives into certain forms, p sure even aristotle wrote sth about this tho he commingled forms with plot like a play/tragedy always has certain elements while epic poetry sth else, and so on
