Current day issues in nonfiction is both publishing trends and buying trends. When Covid happened people shat out all the virus books that had been sitting in a closet. What’s the mystery? People’s interest is fickle and you strike while the iron is hot.
Ukraine books and russia were hot a year or two ago. Now boring and old news. Palestine will be gone too. Global warming keeps floating back up but not in any major way.
Can’t see “BLM” book there either, and would be surprised to. That trend is dead as shit. Even the race whiner book trend took a dive.
