That would be pretty kino and ties in with the theming of the Daynes being the quintessential "fantasy knight and princess" style house and how that kind of fairy-tale doesn't survive contact with reality in Westeros, but Rhaegar and Lyanna doing the same thing hits a lot of the same narrative points and I feel Jon being a hidden prince and not a bastard is more significant to the story than him simply being the true Stark heir. Although I'm sure you could find as much Dayne imagery in Jon's storyline as there is Targaryen so maybe we'll see him inherit Dawn and usher in the Morning ™ after the Long Night.

I've only read the first book so far. It was bretty good, but not at all similar to ASOIAF. Pretty slow and melancholic, and apparently there is a 15-year timeskip after every book.

Without the dragons the targ rule is just as lame and status quo as any other monarch. That was the problem that the Egg Aegon was dealing with.
