It's boring if you're so embarrassed about the furry erotica you read that you can't share with the class

There's no shame anon. I read Goosebumps and Wayside School in between the Greeks just to give my brain a rest.

The greatest number of pages I've read in a day or a single sitting was probably when I was 18 and it was springtime and I read the latter like 60% of A Storm of Swords over the course of an entire school night and just skipped the entire next day of school.

Were /you compelled, for a class? I think the longest book I've ever read in a 24-hour period was Karamazov, but I also read Portrait of a Lady in a day. Both under compulsion

No. I was in the middle of the Clarke Rama series and I wanted to get through the filler novel The Garden of Rama. It was dogshit and insufferable and a waste of time.

Only the first two books are worth reading btw.

Correction, 530 pages. I did however then proceed to read half of Rama Revealed afterwards.
