The book of Romans is the best systematic summary of the gospel message in the Bible (with Ephesians being a close second). The book of Hebrews shows how Jesus is in every page of the Old Testament. Two of my favorite books.

I also recommend CS Lewis’s “Mere Christianity” as a good primer for new believers. If Lewis’s book is Christianity 101, then JI Packer’s “Knowing God” is the next step (Christianity 102 or 201, if you will) about how to know God and be known by Him. I’d also highly, highly, highly recommend Dane Ortland’s “Gentle and Lowly.” It’s easily the best book out there on the love of God and the love of Christ for His people.

You might start with a Harmony of the Gospels.. I think John MacArthur wrote one. Maybe try his, he just died a few days ago.

They aim to blend all of the gospels into a single account.
