Smut is bad. Stop thinking with your dick and be elegant. Needless gross eroticism is why people are repulsed by most internet sub-cultures.

Sadly, putting your dick inside anuses irl is way more empty than your stylized idea of it. People aren't worth much and pussies are made for breeding.

I have a copy of Three Men in a Boat (1889) loaded with typos. Picrel. It was part of some newspaper's book club program in 2004. I imagine they used some garbage OCR on a public domain (or British equivalent) copy and didn't bother editing it. Great book, would recommend, very funny and comfy.

Some publishers exist only to make bank off this and you have no idea how much I hate them

What makes you think it is not? I am ESL; however, I have never seen "it belonged to there", only "it belonged there". I checked with grammarly and openai, and both stated it was an error.

And yes, I have not read "Three Men in a Boat" (I believe I read an excerpt of it as a kid but that was too long ago to remember) but even the title sounds gay enough for it to be plausible.

It is anthropomorphizing a place.
You have heard belongs to me or or belongs to some person. Like that funny manga image of This hole belongs to me?
The smell belongs to some place.-> It belongs to there.

That could be the case, and then it would technically be correct. Although, I doubt that was the intention, as no other form of anthropomorphism occurs, and it just does not fit his writing style. Maybe somebody could check the original german text or another translation to disprove me.
