Ancient Greek writers were churning out like 150+ books on every subject known to man during their lifetime and you struggle to write just one.

They were also either politicians and when they weren't they were basically NEET's and sometimes estate managers. It was both part of their culture to write and they had all the time in the world to do so without much distraction.
