Would yhe binble hold up in modern times if it was sold as a companion, or standalone book for an established fantasy world, serving as lore or backstory?
Similar to The Silmarillion.

The thing is, that the bible and every religious book is the fantasyslop of its time. But people take it so seriously that we tend to forget at times.
