I found a misspelling in my RSV-CE
I checked the Internet Archive's copies and it looks like the misspelling was in every printing since the 1970s. It's also in some online copies like on Bible Gateway. What should I do with this knowledge that they were so sloppy with handling the word of God?

Consider this a lesson in humility that you too would probably make a minor typographical error when dealing with a book of so many words. Next, contact the publisher and let them know.

So, the prince of darkness has been messing with reality again... Heh, a spelling error in an old 1970 translation of the Bible. In more recent translations, it's clearly "ye shall be as gods". And that actually makes more sense than the original, or at least makes more sense why God would be upset.

Now, I'm not really religious, but I know a few guys who could definitely use a lesson in humility - and they're not exactly following God's plan, either.

I am at work right now, I should be doing something productive but my mind is wandering. What could I do to teach Mr. Satanic Editor a lesson? How about releasing a new, revised edition of the Bible with all his spelling errors corrected? A New Modern Revised 3rd English Standard Version! (NMR3-ESV!!) Heh, he'd probably be so proud...

EDIT: Oh, and Mr. Satanic Editor, if you're reading this, stop by sometime and we'll have a nice little chat about how you're wasting your time. You could have done something useful with your life, you know. Like maybe a reconcillation between Israel and Palestine? Nah, just kidding. There's no hope for peace there.
