Spoilers ahead I guess: It's about a well-off neet (Augusto) who's apathetic and aimless in life, then he randomly meets a girl on one of his incel walks and he believes he's fallen in love, he idealizes this girl who gives piano lessons, but when she actually gets to know her he realizes that she's the complete opposite of the girl he thought, she is very materialist and pragmatic and she already has a boyfriend also.
Then another girl (a domestic worker) is introduced, and this girl tells Augusto she's willing to marry him so Augusto is like ''should I chase the piano teacher who's out of reach or should I get with the safe option of the domestic worker?'' and anyway then the piano teacher girl basically tells him ''ok I will marry you but only if you find a job to my current boyfriend'', but it was a ploy so after Augusto finds a job to the guy the girl just stays with him and goes away.
At that point Augusto wants to kill himself and that's when the character goes to argue with the author, the final part of the book you remember

Looking back on it, there's only two quick mentions on the aesthetics of bullfighting, calling it a lowbrow passtime of a backwards country. And I can't recall how it bothered me that much that, I not only dropped the book, but, by an act of memory, it grew monstrously in size until taking up various pages.

>I could save her
Even a mid tier 5/10 roastie slut will take money from chud simultaneously being fucked by chad who would have never married her.
Suicide.
The end.
