Globally, approximately 12.6% of the world's population (around 1 billion people) drink coffee daily
One in 10 characters should drink coffee, and yet every book I pick up, if they are getting a drink, I just know whats coming and sure enough, its coffee every single time.

Post-dinner digestive espresso is still plenty common in southern europa. But the answer to the mystery is that coffee of yesteryear was notably weaker than today. In modern day people gobble up a thousand mgs of caffeine and shake and shiver and shit themselves all the way to work and have a panic attack in the parking lot before complaining to their coworkers about their chronic anxiety disorder.

That’s closer to 1 in 8
And many people drink coffee only on weekdays
I drink coffee sometimes, but not daily
Coffee is fine
I used to drink soda when I was in high school and coffee would have been a better caffeine-delivery device
Water, straight fucking water, what’s the problem?
Orange juice, cola, milkshake, milk, lemonade,
No get fucked it’s the same old black coffee every time.
how i feel is that what it feels like to drink a coffee is how it feels like to drink a coffee the coffee is there as much as mental form or experience as there as a physical form or even as a printed word of course mormons are not going to even engage with coffee culture in galactic space farming io or something like that in when the years use a numbering system taken from final fantasy 3

1 in 10 people globally supposedly have a soda daily, but we don’t see that. Or tea as much, even though it’s second place before coffee and after water of course.

mormons buddhists and certain sects of islam understand that coffee trades earth and water and air for fire lo all elements for a paltry one and makes your hair fall out and your heart beat sideways at changeable speeds those that are addicted the black potion long for not energy as they profess but for a microdose of fear it suits some but far from everyone

Coffee is not equally consumed in all cultures and countries. Western countries make up a larger percentage of the global coffee drinking population. So the number could be higher than 1 out of 10.

if a character has that quick thinking vibe to them it can be okay for e. I find it even as a trope to be less disruptive that the woke character list or the girlboss trope.

what the fuck are you talking about? People drink coffee. Characters are facsimiles of people. It's not a trope. What's wrong with you?

/lit/ posters are such shut ins that they think drinking and eating things they read about online falls under memes and tropes. really makes you hmm doesn't it
>>24618957 >people drink like 10 cups a day here, it doesn't really have any effect
you're not making it strong enough. When a couple cups give you the shits you back off a bit an that's how strong. I worked in the Math Lab at college. The Dr. that ran it, showed me the signs. The approved measure of coffee per pot (large!) and the brand of coffee. I think it was a buck every two weeks for all the coffee you could drink. When people bitched I drank too much of it I bought two more cans of it an everyone was happy. Coffee was part of some sort of ritual at college. And I slept about 8 hours a *week* as a senior under-grad. Course I was in STEM. Real degrees take more effort.

You're wrong. Here, stronger is better, especially with those that drink a lot of it. If it's not on the edge of making you grimace from the bitterness, it's too watery and you're a cheapskate. I'm brewing my fifth mug today right now and I've never had diarrhea or any stomach issues in my life. You probably just need to fix your garbage diet, most all of the effects of coffee people talk about are meme, placebo or mythology.
You might be onto something, a lot of writers are abusing caffeine to write and brewing 5 pots of coffee per day while 9 out of 10 normal people don’t even drink it. This is the cause of the problem, they need to self inserting their drinking habits on thread characters, most ppl don’t drink coffee.
