Fear and Trembling
Just got diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Paranoid Schizophrenia, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Will reading Kierkegaard help? I think Fear and Trembling might be relevant to my life experiences.

Do you think if you studied a language you could learn it faster because you have delusions of reference related to the words, thats sort of how people who learn languages extremely efficiently do it anyways

Did your psychiatrist pass the vibe-check thoughever, anon ? How much do you trust them. Schizoids usually have highly attuned psychic probisci.

The problem with schizophrenia is we have a thought disorder and get profound meaning where thereโ€™s not supposed to be any.

No, the problem with schizophrenia is that it makes more sense than the mainstream physicalist interpretation of reality.

thats how mnemonics works, it often works with onomatopoeia especially, even if there is no meaning with what is referenced to you, it will form connections in your mind and strengthen the process of learning. Say one of the techniques in mnnemonics is to connect words to childhood memories and that sort of thing

Don't take the meds anon. Every single antipsychotics are toxic as fuck. SSRIs and Benzodiazepines would be relatively helpful for your depression and anxiety, but even these drugs aren't that good.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0920996417303602

The neurotoxicity hypothesis of psychosis (the hypothesis that psychosis reduces cognitive ability) has never been proven. And the only role of antipsychotics is to prevent this psychosis. Schizophrenia has both "positive symptoms" and "negative symptoms", and the very mechanism of the drugs amplifies the negative symptoms.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0924977X14000935

Rather, it is clear that antipsychotics and benzodiazepines reduce cognitive ability, and in the long run, reduce their efficacy. Even more disturbing is the lack of funding for research into the side effects of psychiatric drugs. One of the side effects of the drug is exactly like that of "drug" addiction. To name just one, most psychiatrists didn't even recognize akathisia as a real side effect until the 2020s.

>Scientologist detected
do not listen to Xenu as this is the final outcome

In 2003, a man with untreated schizophrenia murdered his mother after his paranoid delusions caused him to become convinced that the Scientology-approved vitamins she was giving him in lieu of effective medication were poisonous.

Just because Scientologist agrees with this doesn't mean it's wrong. I don't think this person had even suffered from acute psychosis. It's almost tangible.
In Western Europe, acute psychosis is treated as a hospitalization without any medication. And I don't think he's first worlder when nurse diagnose fairly separate conditions at once like this

psychosis is a living nightmare that meds make permanent. you can get through it, provided you and the people on your life understand and trust that you can. there's a balance beam you have to walk. my advice is take the risk of participating in normie world and humoring other people's assumptions and perceptions of reality. you don't have to believe and perceive as they do, but acting as though you do initiates a process of trust-building.

...and in that way you can bridge the black and white conception of the gap between minds that characterizes psychosis both as an intrapsychic and as a social condition.

>the hypothesis that psychosis reduces cognitive ability) has never been proven
Yeah it has. Do you want to know how? Because when I was first psychotic before I got meds I couldn't do anything. I couldn't read anymore. I couldn't write a coherent sentence. I couldn't add a string of numbers. Do you know what happened when i took antipsychotics? I could do all those things again and even better, I didn't kill myself or someone else which is what would have happened if I never got medication

People who advocate for schizophrenics to stop their meds are murderers. Die you cunt

Upboat. I got put on lithium in my early 20s and haven't had a psychotic break since. I can think and create just fine, in fact I don't feel like I'm taking anything. Also I sometimes take antipsychotics when I start feeling weird/not sleeping and it's the same thing, it just mellows me out and helps me sleep. The last time I was on a stint of antipsychotics I re-read all of Plato, they don't make me feel dumbed down or flat at all.

Sounds dramatic, Im a schizo and I dont take meds ive never killed anyone, myself, neither have I been involuntarily committed, the side effects of the meds are actually worse than schizophrenia. Depression, sexual dysfuntion (and low testerone), blunted effect, dull emotions, "personality changes" (turns you into a castrate worm, flat effect (makes you look like a castrate), it actually worsens the content of the voices, akathisia, low motivation, cognitive slowing, memory problems, weight gain, and you still in effect have schizophrenia, the symptoms are 40% less frequent, but you cant deal with them as well because youre virility is gone. On top of that my dopamine dysregulation from schizophrenia it makes me feel euphoria all the time, Ive felt mind-bending never ending beauty for years since ive stopped taking the meds

not him but on the wild east coast of south africa i met a woman whose son was half wild he came home to the roundhouse only one every three days for food and water rest of the time he slept in the milkwood forests and ate small animals raw. in another society he almost absolutely would have been diagnosed with a schizo-affective disorder. there in the primality he was simply touched by the ancestors. but they still thought he was crazy.
