I'm no Marxist, but at least Mao understood that the poor rural population had the best chance of overthrowing capitalism, and revolutionaries in the Philippines and Nepal followed this model to great success (at least in comparison to other post-Cold-War Marxists). The Western Maoists are too blinded by race to actually organize the groups with any capability to revolt.

Yeah. The whole point of the book is that you should hate yourself if you're American because your entire society is built on oppression. But that's literally the basis for all of history. The work of ML's is inherently about collaborating with your community and working with what you have to build something better. Sakai's thought process is just accelerationist slop that promotes doing nothing and just reveling in the suffering of the white working class because "they deserve it".
