How do the themes of sacrifice, redemption, and resurrection in the life of Jesus echo in works of literature, such as in the tragic hero's journey or the concept of "the suffering servant" in classical texts?

The Resurrection of the Body in Paradise Lost: John Milton's epic poem explores the consequences of sin and the eventual hope for resurrection and redemption through Christ. The resurrection is not just physical but symbolic of humanity’s potential for spiritual renewal.

"Julius Caesar," Brutus sacrifices his friendship with Caesar for the perceived benefit of Rome. Similarly, in J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" series, Harry repeatedly sacrifices himself to protect his friends and the world from Voldemort, paralleling the idea of self-sacrifice for a greater cause.

okay kid i'll help you with your homework

you're looking at it backwards, its not that all those things mirror the story of jesus, it's that the story of jesus mirrors those common tropes.

these are tropes that already existed earlier, if you read any mythology or classic literature like the oddysay you'll see what I mean, I mean look no further than Prometheus.

The gospel writers were writing narratives of the life of Jesus, not what we would consider a 100% accurate historical account (not malicious on their part, those didn't exist back then). They used tropes common at the time when writing their narratives. It's that simple.

Say thank you.
