It is a great book which is hidden in plain sight by appearance of being strange and unusual, whose depths and secrets only when fully comprehended attest the truth of God to the heart and soul of the reader. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God in the 19th century. The D&C is his collected revelations; the BoM is a very densely abridged compilation of African histories.

Oh, and God revealed it in America so scribes would add and try to enforce the belief that it was nonsensically from the Americas, which makes it the most unbelievable religious text; only if you follow the NT gospel and remove any and all word of man from it can you read and enjoy the pure word of god in this book.

Here is an ancient Ethiopic script example.

Also, there is an extremely obscure edition of the Bible, which is basically a cleaned up modern-type KJV with added revelations concerning Enoch &c from Joseph Smith, that almost nobody has, which is the best edition of the Bible available; it will all confound those who are wedded to their own man-made concocted doctrines, and is for only the most genuine people to follow Jesus perfectly in these latter days.

Also also, English is a holy language, and there is meaning in the Star Field in the American flag, being that we were the first nation to make it to another celestial body; we are on the cusp of a major unfolding of all things from God in these modern times.

I personally highly recommend you skip the endless doubts about buying a perfectly cheap book and save the criticisms for when you can actually engage with the core sacred text and not the doctrines of man which confound people from the truth.

This prophecy >>24631778 is perfectly worded but the scribe got the punctuation wrong - proof that the text predates the actual events of the Civil War and WWI & II, but in reading it (it is very short so just do that now I'd recommend) make sure to consider "even the nation of Great Britain" a new line and a second entry in the list of nations upon whom war would be poured out on, not a nation South Carolina would successfully call to arms in its own conflict.

>american epic
The closest thing to a national epic I think would have to be either the story of the founding and independence, or Joseph Smith's career, where he had his own revelations like the Koran or New Testament. The Book of Mormon is an African bible and it shows from reading it that it doesn't fit with the native Americans, and it is much too global to be just American because it was found here.

Makes infinitely more sense than American Indians, or anywhere else for that matter.

>In short, they [the Mormons] represent in many of their particulars tendencies that have found multiple expressions in the contemporary world, and of which the actual development even seems a rather worrisome symptom of a mental disequilibrium that risks becoming widespread if care is not taken. In this respect, the Americans have given Europe some truly deplorable gifts.
