I would recommend watching Stephen E. Andrews' yt series on sf genre theory. Really opened my mind up and made me want to read more science fiction.

Ah, I didn't scroll down. I ordered some Lucian recently because I was re-reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra and had the urge to translate übermensch into greek. Apparently, it turns out Nietzsche got it from another Lucian story/dialogue.
