Those are at the back, retard. Never in the middle, and they're ads for other books from the publisher, not shilling for a Netflix adaptation of the source material.

I've seen them. They're just ads for other books from the same publisher so it's fine.
But a goddamn TV show ad?

I've always refused to own any book with the "now a major motion picture!" On the cover. This just reinforces my decision.

Most of the books I read have a section at the end where they advertise other books published by the house. How is this any different?

full page, colored ads in the middle in the book is very fucking different from "check out these other classic titles we publish" in the very back. I haven't seen shit like this since Goosebumps books included full color stills from the tv show.

What does America have to do with a French book published in France that contains a French ad for Netflix in the middle of a French book?

If anyone here actually read books you'd know this has been common practice in things like mass market paperbacks of stageplays with movie/TV adaptations for like half a century at least

Never seen this shit, as >>24638643 said I only see ads at the very start and/or beginning of the book, and they're always for many different books, never shit like cigarettes or gayass films. Never seen them use pictures either.
