Why did religion and Traditionalism threads die off on /lit/? I remember in like 2021-2022 there was a lot of Guenon threads, Bible threads, debates over Advaita Vedanta and Buddhism, that Frater Asemlen guy posting esoteric stuff, etc. You don't see that much anymore.

In reality, it was no more than a dozen or so people, with a few heavily carrying the burden. Frater became a monk or something. I'm fairly certain the Buddhist posters and the Advaita Vedanta posters were maybe three or four well-read posters responding to each other back and forth (not that that's a bad thing). All of these threads were interspersed by dilettantes who never managed to actually read any of the texts in question, or worse, people being deliberately disruptive and rude to prevent any serious discussion. There's also the painful but necessary realization that if you're on any path of spiritual realization of true significance, the last thing you would do is continue to post here.

Many of us attained gnosis and are less interested in posting on 4chan as a result

At any certain point there are only around a dozen power-posters driving the spirit of the board.

Because we got sick of the same 3 retards trying to convince everyone else that all philosophy was just Hinduism by another name, simple as. Every thread was a repeat of the last one.

The nature of god is intuitive and obvious. The answers to all big questions in life are intuitive and obvious.

I still see frequent Guenon and Buddhism debate threads.

I doubt this actually happened with any of the anons that used to post about religion but at some point you realize the commonalities and generalities are more important than the differences. Said differences are emergent products of context and different strategies that different people use to reach the same end goal. The different paths do not invalidate the existence of that common goal. And being autistic over literalistic interpretations of religious or esoteric doctrine and theories is a waste of time and not the point of those subjects at all.

You don’t see 50 Stirner threads a day like you did in 2014-2015, either. People move on, memes get stale. Proof positive that traditionalism is a bunch of hooey.

Things changed a lot in the last few years. Back then, people saw Hinduism as a connection to our own ancient tradition. Now people have zero tolerance for anything related to India.

You're on a slow board on 4chan. Everytime you see one specific topic over and over again it's always just the same autist posting it over and over again and then eventually they find something new to dedicate their autistim to and make threads about that.
