You're doing that already. You're already unconsciously absorbing the prejudices and preconceptions of the society you live in. If you read philosophy directly, you start to piece together the origins and motives behind the ideas you've unconsciously inherited. It also gives you the critical thinking tools (logic, history of philosophy, etc.) to allow you to subject new ideas you come across to meaningful criticism. It's only "cucked" if you blindly accept everything you read as truth - I can't imagine why you'd do that. It's much better intellectual company to be in than 99% of the people you'll talk to IRL, anyway.
