No, but it's the highest priority on the mid-priority of my short-to-medium term top priority to-read list. Which means probably next year.
Have only read Of mice and men, East of Eden, and Tortilla flat. The latter is even more "slice of life" ier, not bad overall.

Fuck yes Steinbeck thread. East of Eden is a masterpiece. I’m reading travels with Charley right now. He doesn’t get talked about here because anons think they’re too good for him because one of his books use to be assigned reading in school meanwhile they pretend McCarthy is the greatest most highbrow thing ever whilest pretending like he didn’t go on Oprah and the road never happened
