Wtf... Beat /lit/'s 2020-24 top 100 list with that.
Anonymous No.24647843
An alright if unexciting list.

You do always end up with a slightly dull selection of popular books. The Satanic Verses, The Tin Drum and Buddenbrooks is about a spicy as this gets. All good, but mah selections.

1984 and Beloved are the only things that really shouldn't be there.

No, and we certainly don't need that much Tolstoi either.

19th century sucks ass. Only the dryest Russians are up there and for some godforsaken reason Chekov is there but no Pushkin (the only good Russian writer with Gorky)

> no Pushkin (the only good Russian writer with Gorky)
Gorky is a mid writer, overhyped by communist government. His works about "horrors of old regime" are tasteless and secondary compared to French writers such as Hugo.
Pushkin is good but his best works are untranslatable poetry.

Anonymous No.24650212
>>24649788
Nice dubs
Dunno what the average na slavery fiction is like but it is quite good, unconventional in style, aesthetically compelling, gothic in feel, but at its core it is still about slavery and it's effects on the mind
