What's the best AI for literary critic? I want an honest opinion but don't want to share what I wrote with the world until it's over.

If all else fails I'm thinking of pitting accomplished writers' quotes against some of mine and ask the AI which one is better.

The digital accretion you mislabel as intelligent should not be consulted for an opinion. It is not an audience. Unless you write for software. In every case you should consider killing yourself. Your electric toy may be able to direct you towards the most painful yet consistent methods.

Alright, but I'm sure it can be useful if I tell it which period's or author's style I'm trying to emulate

LLMs shrimply replicate our own neuronic subconscious conditioning. Shrimply "train" yourself by reading the authors you wish to emulate. Your only excuse is sloth.

Having an outsider perspective is always useful. That's why people generally progress faster if they have a private tutor. I can be prone to errors

Imperfection is the mark of the soul.

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in type-shit.

How and what are you hoping to write anyhow ?

I guess that is true.
I love Leonard Cohen.
I'm hoping I can write a book that is as beautiful as it is disgusting using my very own computer. Unfortunately, I can't say much else without potentially embarrassing myself if I ever make it big and people come across my posts

Embarrassment is the bloodprice for creation anon, you know that. Self-expression is a process of continual self-humiliation, it requires a kind of suicidal courage; ten times more for those not completely in love with themselves. I wish you success. The casual use of LLMs will likely not survive for long regardless, given the current energy expenditure. Best to turn elsewhere for mentorship. Perhaps the drug addicts behind the trash compactor. That's all the models really are, anyway. Recycling plants.

>Embarrassment is the bloodprice for creation
You're right but I'd rather people learn about my life from what I choose to share, not by digging through my personal belongings.

>The casual use of LLMs will likely not survive for long regardless, given the current energy expenditure
I hope you are correct.

I will think of alternatives, though I can't say I've got many choices in my current situation.

All that's left are my parents. And I intend to use a pen name specifically so they don't know what I've been up to (it is autobiographical in parts)
