OP, you have many possible courses of action with one goal: tell her to stay out of your business.
Men and women are inherently socially incompatible. Their spheres should be kept entirely separate for the safety and integrity of both.

I wouldn't get into a relationship with someone who didn't like reading literature or only a small amount of it because it's pretty fundamental to compatibility. It's a good indicator of similar personalities and motivations. I think all the girls I've gone on dates with usually had at least some interest in literature because it's obvious from my dating profiles that that's my main interest, and my two exes were both very passionate about literature and had good taste/similar taste to me.

As a younger man, I frequently made the mistake of acting as docent for girlfriends who were less intellectually inclined. It came from a place of wanting to share things that were meaningful and important to me, but came off as a series of impositions. I have never had a gf who liked reading except once and she was married, and one other time, my first gf when I was a teenager. Every other woman I’ve been with is a non-reader

I honestly decided that finding an ideal mate is not really possible and after dumping me last gf earlier this year I have become a volcel because no woman is worth the investment, whether it is time or money or emotion or whatever you are expected to invest. Great sex is great but I’m not going to restructure my whole fucking life for it, especially for one woman, in a way that makes me less happy
