Doomy gothic overtones with a southern blues rock base. Child of God, or anything southern gothic yet pulpy.

I don't have any recommendations that exactly fit any of the albums posted but I think most if not all of the people in this thread would like Hunger by Knut Hamsun for the more experimental dark stuff Naked Lunch but you all probably already have it on your list

Bladee read a fuck ton of scandi folk tales while making the album (acc to his ig) and he also loves Beowulf. Most of his sound is inspired by that

Andrew Jackson's jihad was against the Second Bank of the United States.

I was really disappointed with those faggots when they dropped the edgy punk pretense and changed their name to AJJ with a long-winded apology to appease the SJW crowd.

They wrote a whole song about white privilege on Knife Man, they were already on that side. Ironically the last album of theirs that was really good.

gothic literature like The Picture of Dorian Gray

what's the literature equivalent to breakcore????
Anonymous No.24675066
>>24674979
i guess they mean people here recommend rymcore music, i mean, this is 4chan after all and things popular on /mu/ are known by everyone.
also, it's admittedly more fun to match literature with modern music as the connection isn't that clear, since now music movements aren't paired with general artistic movements, less so literature-involving ones. if i posted something by some french baroque musician, the natural response would be to read Molière. if i posted jazz, then Kerouac. anything from the romantic era to some German idealist that directly inspired it

also, because of plebs, of course
