Came here to say this, disliking one part of an author’s work (or body of works) doesn’t mean the whole thing is useless.
It’s sad when people do this over politics too. They cut themselves off of potentially great or at least entertaining and stimulating books. I’m a chud myself but a good novel is a good novel, or at least an interesting and stimulating novel is, again, an interesting and stimulating novel.
