Continuation on The Israel Lobby thread
Last thread >>24688451
How can anyone deny that Israel is a net drain on America's geopolitical interests after reading this book?
If it wasn't for the alliance with Israel America would have much better relations with the Arab world and the world would be safer for Americans.

The United States shouldn't have any alliances at all. They shouldn't wield their power as a world hegemon. They should become completely isolationist and cede all power to the growing power alliance between Iran, Russia, and China. Nothing bad would happen from that decision at all.

There are decisions that were made in the aftermath of World War II that cannot be unmade. America sided with Israel, a marriage of states. A Catholic marriage, like the one between the USA and Saudi. And there are no divorces in a Catholic marriage. America and Israel are stuck together until the end, be it bitter or sweet.

No, no we should end all our alliances instead and leave them to be eaten by the wolves. It surely will benefit us in the end.

Obviously jews are semites like the rest in the MENA.
What the Israel lobby really represents is the US trying to control the craddle of civilization: iranians, egyptians, semites and turks. It would objectively be a powerful region if united and given a goal. The US doing whatever it can to 1. not let that happen and 2. control the region only makes sense.
It only makes sense to have the largest domestic semitic diaspora control the fractured MENA via an representative outpost for your global empire benefit.

these countries are literally incapable of forming alliances. That is their whole fucking problem. The can hold hands for the photos but never be in a true alliance.

Exactly. The United States has nothing to worry about, they should stop involving themselves in foreign affairs altogether and that will make them rich and the world will be peaceful.

"The Palestinians voted for Hamas. They deserve what they voted for!"

Everyone on this list except Iran and Yemen is an American ally
>Egypt
Major non-NATO ally, gets tons of America military aid
>Qatar
Hosts the largest American airbase in MENA
>Saudi Arabia
Was literally the most important ally of US in the 20th century, is a big reason why we won the Cold War

The United States should end military aid to Israel.
1 Military aid to Israel is a diplomatic liability to the United States
2 Military aid to Israel is illegal under the Leahy law which prohibits military aid to human rights violators
3 Military aid to Israel is illegal under the Symington Amendment which prohibits any form of foreign aid to nations with nuclear weapons that do not permit inspections of their nuclear sites and/or have not signed the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty.

Why do geopolitical academics always treat their subject like it’s some map painter strategy game? They’ll talk about countries defending their nebulous ‘interests’ but never question the legitimacy of those interests in the first place.

The current war has been front and center for AI militarization and the complete abandonment of any actual pretension of upholding international law. Also, the Jewish/Zionism authoritarianism over the very fact and questioning of their expansive power is brazen to a level never seen before. Once this is all over the consequences will be dire and unpredictable. All the pre-crime AI shit being rolled out is obviously just a gambit to stop crook and criminals from getting the 1789 treatment.

Why do faggots hide behind passive aggression and vaguities instead of just getting to the point? Name a specific academic who does this, and explain why they’re wrong.

Your current statement conveys essentially nothing, besides that you are too inept to articulate something meaningful.

I mean, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Qatar are pretty damn close to us too as someone mentioning. But even in these cases, the Israel/Palestine conflict, and the U.S. clearly and heavy-handedly falling on the side of Israel, leads to tensions in the relations at times, and probably relations would be even friendlier without this conflict, so there’re fair enough points in the thread overall.

/lit/ is not /pol/. If you want to do your weird mix of lefty "muh international institutions say," "muh Yuropoor report," and /pol/tard anti-Semitism (which BTW, absolutely puts you as a migrant safely seething in Yurostan) go do it on /pol/. You need to go back, just like you need to go back IRL. If you love Hamas so much, go back home and fight for them. Stop trying to get us to fight your war for you. You least of all should be crying about taking other people's land.

Idk what you’re smoking, clear enough to in have never, ever read a history book or you would know America was actually under an oil embargo from Saudi Arabia at one point during the Cold War, and we only became close when they begged us to make them a protectorate during the Gulf War. America was also definitely not married to Israel, Eisenhower was extremely stern with Israel and Ronald Reagan also got majorly pissed off with Israel and compared their actions to Hitler and threatened to sanction them. America’s policy with Israel until Bush Sr was basically try to me a tough friend in order to deter Israeli escalation of the region, after Israel got nukes, and especially after the Iranian Revolution. But even with Iran we still weren’t married: in the Iran-Iraq war for instance, we strongly supported Saddam whereas Israel strongly supported Khomeini (yes). America is married to the UK maybe, Japan sure, but Israel has not send troops to help in a single one of America’s wars. Not Korea, not Vietnam, not Iraq, not Afghanistan. There is no alliance there. During Bush Sr AIPAC a passed the lip of influence and that and that alone is why all there branches of government have been lapdogs for Israel ever since

>the legitimacy of those interests in the first place.
They do; just look at the war in Ukraine. Judging the legitimacy of other countries' interests is worthless; it's just an individual's subjective opinion; it changes nothing. For Russians, their interests are logical; NATO is a threat; what Europeans think is of no importance to them, and vice versa.
