Read the first 5 or 6 sures and it became very boring.
If Ive already read the books by the script people I learn nothing new here except for whatever battles these desert normands had and how they should deal with inheritance and divorce.
No offense, but it seems quite undeveloped, and instead a simplification which is perhaps why it spread so well? I learned a lot of new respect for muslims though and their tolerance and kinship with any christian who is devoted to God and not limited to any sect behavior or group.

I read the Quran. It is a mess. Just a bunch of jumbled repetitive speeches and sayings crammed together that requires Biblical and general historical/religious knowledge to reasonably understand. It really was never intended to be made into written scripture. The speeches of a charismatic and spiritual warlord do not well translate to written scripture in the format of other religions. Even with the revisions of the early Caliphs it is still is extremely repetitive despite being small in scope (which is why they need tens of thousands of hadiths which are also a mess to come up with anything coherent enough to cobble together a religion). Ironically, given that it is supposed to be so perfect and unalterable, it is one of the Holy Books most requiring of an extended gloss, many times longer than the initial text itself.

Maybe. But that fact doesn't erase all the islamic organizations. It's strange right? Almost as if there's something wrong with people who ritually mutilate their children. Somehow abrahamists are the most bloodthirsty people on earth. Or traditional abrahamists I should say. Because reformed abrahamists (christians) were never nearly as brutal. The only time christians went on a rampage was the crusades. And even the crusades were just a response against the muslim invasion to europe.

Aside from the fact that you clearly see the contradiction (am I to bring a whole koran, a surah or ten?), what's funny is that Mohammed himself recited verses proclaiming the intercession of pagan gods. This was of course a means to convince the pagan Arabs to join his flock. Up until a follower reminded him; err... boss, there are no gods other than allah...
So Mohammed claimed that it was Satan who snuck those verses in. So Mohammed himself, the last prophet of allah, was unable to tear apart God's word from Satan's.
