What do you do if you barely slept the night before and thus are too tired to concentrate on reading? Is there still some way to get some reading done?

When I read, I write notes
When I'm too tired to read, I string together my notes into a semi-coherent flow of ideas
When I'm energetic and not in the mood to read, I re-organize my notes and share it to people when I'm done with it

Yeah it’s unbelievable how retarded sleep deprivation makes you. On a bad sleep day I might only read a few pages of Hegel, with good sleep dozens of pages. Taking notes is also good advice.

Always be journeying through multiple books simultaneously.
A heavy book for days when you are well rested and can give it your full focus.
A light book for days when you are drained and fogged.
A medium book to catch the times in between.

Take a nap. Followed by cold exposure. Works every time.
