Schopenhauer did the whole comparative religions thing way before the so called traditionalist school, which are a bunch of midwits

The reason why different traditions have arrived at the same tenets is the same as why different, secluded human civilizations throughout history have one pair of eyes, or one heart, one liver and so on.

But these truths must be conveyed to the common herd in a digestible fashion, namely by intermingling them with falsehood. And the falsehood of choice varies with culture. This is also schoppy's conclusion btw

Done. Traditionalism successfully destroyed

not a traditionalist, but isnt this more an explanation of traditionalism then a destruction of it? There are superstitious reflections of truth the masses hold, then more exacting first order explanations the elect hold.

Schopenhauer is just a mediocre idealist that never transcended past the vulgar materialistic conception of history prevalent in his era.
