Why did Noah curse his grandson Canaan, instead of his father, Ham, after Ham saw him passed out naked in his tent? What was the big deal? Your adult son walked in on you while you were blackout drunk and now you want to see his family made into slaves?

Ham was originally cursed, but the Israelites changed this since the canaanites were their enemies.

Ham didn’t cover up Noah and instead told others about him being naked. So he got curse-ye-ha-me-ha’d.

It's a euphemistic cross reference to Leviticus 20:11. Ham fucked Noah's wife and then bragged about it to his brothers. Canaan is the result of this union and was cursed for being born out of really degenerate perversion.
