Where do I start with Kant?
Is there a build up to critique of pure reason? Is it even worth a read?

The buildup to the critique is the tradition of the rationalist and empiricist schools during the 17th and early 18th century, with Kant drawing from the major works in both traditions. Specifically the Leibniz-Wolffian philosophy of his time. You may wanna read Descartes->Spinoza->Locke->Berkeley->Leibniz->Hume to prepare for the Critique. But to understand them, it would also be beneficial to be familiar with the Greeks. So start there if you want to have a comprehensive understanding.

Alternatively, if you don't want to spend too much time in preparation, do what this helpful chart recommends:

You don’t have to read anything before Kant, but I would advise you to read the prolegomena first, then critique of pure reason and then the other critiques.

you can just read the critique it's not as deep as people think.

That the Prolegomena is meant to be read before the critique of pure reason is a meme literally refuted in the intro to the prolegomena:

>although a mere sketch PRECEDING the Critique of Pure Reason would be UNINTELLIGIBLE, UNRELIABLE, and USELESS, it is all the more useful as a SEQUEL. For so we are able to grasp the whole, to examine in detail the chief points of importance in the science, and to improve in many respects our exposition, as compared with the first execution of the work.

same as literature: intellectual and aesthetic edification--if I just wanted to excrete juice from my body I'd take a piss

I reckon fanfics of some old retard that has never spoken to a woman and anime tits are both intellectualy and aesthetically satisfying, just like literature minus the anime tits

Sure, but you will get more out of the cpr if you read the prolegomena first. Actually, I would say, read the introduction of the cpr (1781 and 1787), then the prolegomena, then the rest of the cpr.

I post about subahibi all the time but can't stand the way other people flaunt it. It's a sacred work of God meant for me specifically. Not only that, you use it as an excuse to start a discussion about cunt. I piss on your cunt.
