I started working on my prose alongside watching the Brandon Sanderson lectures a while ago. So far, I've seen an improvement in pacing, less repetition, and enough positive change overall that I'm able to keep at it without getting disheartened at the inhuman gobbledygook that is a lot of the dialogue I've written. As a kid I was never in any advanced writing courses but I was in music, and it seems to me that learning to write is much like learning an instrument: it's countless hours of making slight improvements on trash while pushing aside the feeling that you'll never be able to hold a candle to the people that make the art that inspires you.
I started writing smut for myself to bang out my practice in a way that keeps me motivated. I'm able to write and proofread 3-4k words a day consistently in one sitting. It's been easier to get into the heads of each of my characters, hunt down the right-feeling descriptions, and stay in the writing mood for a couple hours straight while I'm rock hard.

Yes, I have published it anonymously on choose your own change . net. It varies in quality from absolutely grammatically and conceptually gobbledygook to half decent.

Find less used innocuous words that can have sub-erotic meanings and work them into your writing.
I remember "moist" gave girls the ick a decade ago because how ubiquitous it was throughout the genre. Not sure what triggers girls now. Pretty sure they can't even read so it doesn't matter.

It's erotica, nobody expects it to be any good. Just write something down and if it makes you horny when you read it back, it's good enough.

I have literally years of experience writing anonymous erotica specifically catered to my own depraved fetishes. I put it into 4chan posts and pastebins with no tangible way of linking it back to me.

I've tried to wean myself off of doing it but I can't help it, I just keep getting ideas and feeling the compulsion to write them down. I'm actually an absolute writing machine, really, because I also write original fiction and poetry and have numerous poems and short stories published under my own name. And I used to write fanfiction when I was younger.

Basically I'm just constantly writing and coming up with things to write, and that includes erotica but is not limited to it.
