Not really. It's one of the worst edited and written books that gets memed as "good" that I've ever read. After it became popular he got a proper editor, so Count Zero and Virtual Light are far cleaner and better reads. However neither really have that reddit-tier epic save the world plot that Neuromancer has so I guess they don't get memed. They are just standard cyberpunk. Gibson himself is a huge lamewad, like Stephen King, has TDS and writes alt history fan fiction about what if Hillary Clinton won in 2016. Maybe some of the shorts in Burning Chrome would be a better idea and much less painful to get through.
