It's true. Objectivity is not necessarily a universal truth. Objectivity is when you have a purpose, or expectation from which you can measure.
Say you measure two noses. One is 2cm long, the other is 3cm long. You can say that one nose is longer than the other. But can you say the 3cm is "too" long? Well if your expectations are that noses should be 2cm long, then objectively speaking, 3cm is too long. But if your expectations are that noses should be 3cm long, then the 2cm nose is actually too short.
You can argue that upon popular vote, the 3cm nose is too long. But that's just appealing to the majority. It doesn't disprove that beauty is relative. It only proves what the popular objective is.
