>Houses are for living, not for speculation
Is this the most profound statement in the 21st century, or, dare I say, in the past 200 years?
It unlocked China and dismantled the entire Western paradigm of entrepreneurship and capitalism.
It is oddly metaphysical. Jewish finance/knowledge based economies cannot match the raw manufacturing power of the Middle Kingdom. GDP means jackshit now.

China is experiencing prosperity now but who is to say that they won't experience the same rut that the West is in? And aren't they moving manufacturing to places like Vietnam now?

houses in the west aren't used for speculation either. they're used to collect rents. that's what Xi is talking about-entire properties are built to accumulate value rather than to be lived in or rented out

It's too late for most western countries. The housing market is too big to fail. Most wealthy people have a large majority of their "investments" in real estate. First home buyers will keep getting out-bid by investors that will then rent that house out to the same first home buyers that lost the bid.

>>24856844
Imagine living in a country with an EXCESS of housing. In my small country of 5 million people we can't even build enough houses. And the small amount of houses that do get built get snapped up by rich people that then rent it out. People using the housing market as investments make it harder for first home buyers.

>Is this the most profound statement in the 21st century, or, dare I say, in the past 200 years?
No, because housing markets are LITERALLY what allows for modern scale economic power. Much of assets pre introduction of the housing mortgage were LOCKED UP in housing. Decoupling speculation from firm material is what ALLOWED England to dominate pretty much all of the globe and what allowed everyone else to catch up.
These words
>Houses are for living, not for speculation
is merely an admittance of speculation run rampant, not the destruction of it all together.

>Landlords aren't the problem, incentivizing landlords and fucking anybody trying to create real wealth is.
What's the difference? Having renters pay your investment house's mortgage is the most surefire way to acquire "real" wealth. It's essentially usury.
Anonymous No.24856980 [Report] >>24857005 >>24857007 >>24857383
>>24856939
I just explained the difference, landlords are incentivized to exploit a problem created by others. They didn't create the problem, they are taking advantage of it, because it's in their self-interest to do so, and because they have no obligation and further no incentive to act in service of the public good. If the parties who did create the problem, whom do have varying degrees of responsibility to act in service of the public good or at the very least not to harm the public, were to incentivize acting in service of the public good to the same degree that they incentivized hoarding rental properties and instead of incentivizing hoarding rental properties, then landlords would do that instead, because it would be in their self-interest to do so. You sitting there complaining that they're acting in their own self-interest and not in service of the public good, by which you really mean your self-interest, is hypocritical, asinine scapegoating. If you cared about the public interest and not your own self-interest, your concern would be in addressing the underlying problem and the parties responsible for it. But you're not doing that, you're whining and whinging because your covetous and envious and would exploit the same problem if you could. You can't blame anyone for acting in their self-interest when you're doing the same, and you can't reasonably expect others to act against their own interests. The best you can do is make it in their interest to serve the interest of others.

Xi did just that. He stopped the loan and increased reserve requirement. Landlords got fucked.
RE continued to dropped 20+% year by year while high tech manufacturing growing 60%+ year by year. Overall growth 5%
Inflation at 0% despite printing 700 billion USD per MONTH for 10+ years simply because they makes so much physical goods.
The American Jew, even with reserve currency status, cannot print more than 100 billion at a time without getting fucked by inflation.
Materialism > jewish tricks

>by which you really mean your self-interest
I mean the self interest of the 99%.

>would exploit the same problem if you could
No I wouldn't. Why are you making so many assumptions? I hate money. The only things I buy are food and clothes and second hand computers every 5-10 years. If I had 100 rental properties I would give them all away if it meant everyone in my country was then given access to free housing.

That's great. I'm not sure that it's profound, and I'm not sure that I believe any number that comes out of China. But China does have the right idea, wealth is created by creating products and services that other people want to buy. When America was in that position, albeit largely in a different capacity as far as foreign exports, it was in a golden age, and now that its products and services are largely financial manipulation, it is not. That's the greatest challenge faced by the American economy, not property speculation, consolidation of wealth in a post-industrial, post-productive society. Unfortunately for China, the idea that it had, or rather that was thrust onto it by post-productive American business, was to make a whole lot of junk and mostly for Americans, who increasingly have less money to spend on said junk, and who are keen on on-shoring production of what critical industry non-junk China is involved in manufacturing.

>>24857007
You will cry, call names, cope and seethe. That's what you're doing. Murder is by definition illegal, it can't be legal, otherwise it wouldn't be murder. It is however defacto decriminalized in a number of places, if you're of a certain racial background, anyway, and I absolutely do blame the people who enable that, but I digress. You're comparing apples to oranges here, it's a non-sequitor; owning rental properties isn't a crime. You can criticize anyone you want all you want, but you can't not be a hypocrite or frankly an idiot while you do the very same thing you're criticizing them for. But again, you're not really criticizing any one or any thing so much as you're just seething and from a place of envy. You would almost certainly be doing the same thing if they owned successful businesses instead of rental properties. You can virtue signal about hating money all you want too, and you can pretend that you hate money, but you don't really hate it as much as you claim to, because you're crying on the internet about other people acquiring and having it. Don't pretend like you're on here crying about it in service of the public interest, that's total nonsense, because if you cared about the public interest, your concern would, again, be with parties creating the problem.
