Why are there no hater youtubers in the /lit/osphere there aren’t enough harsh critics there’s so much slop content out there to proffesionally hate.

Her video on fantasy was absolutely insufferable. I would accuse it of being ragebait if her comments weren't full of toesuckers. She constructs a narrative that fantasy started with LotR and all fantasy stories between Return of the king and the early 90's were derivative copies of the lotr formula at the hands of one publisher and many copycats.

The early 90's being when Michael Moorcock entered the writing space as an editor and started making authors like George R.R. Martin invented the concept of adding sex and immoral main characters to stories.

Yeah I’m only on my first video and she concludes alot of stuff I sort of disagree with. I just woke up today thinking there’s not enough hater slop out there, the problem is I’m not looking for an overall critique of the “decay”, more of a breakdown of books be it petty i don’t care.

Because if you to engage with literature enough to seriously talk about it then it takes a lot more time than a movie and much more effort and focus than vidya. The reason that you get more people in the movie critic world making their careers over complaining about stuff is because you don’t have to be intelligent or put in that much effort to do it.
People who are going to give their time to literature are going to focus on books they enjoy because only retarded and neurotic people enjoy spending hours seething over media (I won’t say art because genre fiction is not art) they don’t like. Maybe a scholar or professional critic would spend more time on bad stuff because all their time is given to it but even then they will focus on what they love, at least in specifics, it’s more productive to criticise things you hate as part of broad trends. Harold Bloom is famous for hating Harry Potter but he spent much more time talking about the books which he actually liked.
If you’re asking why all those “lit” YouTubers do nothing but praise slop (and mostly genre fiction) it’s because they are retards and shills. I think The Secret History (Taart, not Procopius) sucks ass despite its popularity but why the fuck would I read more of it and spend time analysing it when I could just dismiss it out of hand and go back to reading books and talking about books I actually enjoy. Consuming rageporn about shit media in minute detail is slop for dopamine addicts.

Attempting to understand a coherent moral code from her videos is impossible. In her video on antiheroes she states that the punisher is not an anti-hero but a perfectly moral hero. She also implies Walter White is worse than Humbert Humbert, and that both are at risk of being considered heroes instead of anti-heroes due to the popularity of subjective morality.

She also seems to believe subjective morality is just when you care about other people's feelings more than anything else.
