I thought the gaudy colors were tactical? RX-78-2 was supposed to draw attention and sponge bullets with its impregnable ceramic (lel) armor.

I have level IV plate armor and its rated for rifle rounds. I know a 50 BMG would pop it open but a yards worth of armor is tactical, the colors aren't.

Lunar Titanium. Ceramic armor is for the Zaku and other OYW MP stuff (also, late UC Gundams use a Ceramic/Gundarium composite since they had pretty much given up on armor).
