Are you on drugs or otherwise cognitively disabled? None of these mecha have shit to do with Ghibli, which would be characterized by the iron fist of Hayao Miyazaki imprinted on every cut.
I'm going to have to ask you to watch more anime and maybe learn a few more studio names. A lighter tone and lots of blue skies doesn't make Eureka Seven into Porco Rosso.

short answer: people never really liked it. it feels alien and unrealistic. people are drawn to giant robots for a lot of cool reasons, but organic supersuits isn't really one of them.
