I was considering it when he posted the Victory Gundam land battleship and monowheels but then remembered that old /m/ is dead and I can't be assed to carry a thread. It's some pretty great stuff though, as expected of a master.
>>23315981 (OP) >>23315984 I've been watching his stuff silently for a while now, not just him but other creators too as well. The amount of production details and sketches they share is insane, but it's a bit pointless to make a thread here since the average /m/ user would rather shitpost about the same 7 shows they watched because they were following some gay chart.
These look like Gundams from a Warhammer 40k AU fanfic or something

>>23315981 (OP) This is some absolutely gorgeous stuff, it's a pity it was not worth sharing with /m/ because of /m/'s own decay. Suppose I should've looked for greener pastures when the site went down.
>>23316641 I felt the same but didn't wanna assume just in case someone research-mogs me Makes sense i like these though, cuz victory gundam is one of my fav designs

>>23316569 A show proposal from 1995 known as "Mobile Grappler Gundam A", one of many projects from that era that didn't pan out.
>>23315984 This happened to me when he posted concepts for some sort of American Gundam. I forget the context and I might have that wrong but I love the goggle/sunglasses Gundam he posted.
>>23316028 >not just him but other creators too as well.
Who else are you guys following? I think i just follow him and the eva/gquuuux designer and I'd love to see more.
>I remembered the Mobile Grappler "Gundam A", but this was a sketch for the 1995 Gundam proposal that I didn't even remember. I vaguely remember it being requested by the studio's setting production staff. The proposal was about a space drifting planetary exploration for children.

>>23316915 I really like the V-Fin mask look. Surprised nothing I can think of ever used the concept.
>>23316028 >>23315981 (OP) I donโt get why they canโt make artbook filled with gundam sketches and designs. All other big (mecha) anime does that. The closest thing we have for Gundam is Hidetoshi Ohmori book.
>>23317394 Donโt reply if you donโt know what youโre talking about. Eva, Macross, etc. have artbooks filled with design and concept works. No such thing for gundam.
>>23317448 I don't think you understand the sheer magnitude of discarded designs a single show has, let alone a mechanical designer. Just because Eva has a few groundwork artbooks it doesn't mean that everything Yamashita has done is out there, in fact he releases a ton of never before seen shit in twitter.
>>23317448 >No such thing for gundam. the fuck are you talking about? every couple of years some fuckers will post scans but never provide the name of the different books full of gundam concept art
>>23317448 this fucking thing, someone took a screencap of apparently pages 110-111 of some book from the extras menu on some recent blu-ray boxset for gundam X
>>23317278 What a beauty, the shelf nozzles look much better when they're more pronounced that way. Although I prefer the softer edges in the line art.

>>23316028 >The amount of production details and sketches they share is insane I remember a few years ago, like in 2023, Yamashita shared that the Evangelions are more akin to plants than animals.
>>23318847 Do you still have that? it sounds cool. I tried going backwards in his gallery on twitter but it only goes back so far and is drowned in cute cat pictures. It might just be a glitch on my machine though cause I thought nothing got deleted there.
>>23317452 For example there are discarded Annon desings for the proto-Sazabi that are just floating there. Gundam has a lot of compillation but probably the only the ones that passed the selection phase and not just rough designs.
>>23318958 twitter is weird these days. I doon't know w hat Elon's team did, but they fucked somesthing up so now you are limited in how far back you can search someone's media tab.
I really wish I had saved those posts he made because that shit was absolutely mind-blowing.
>>23319463 they literally got mad about people being able to dig up old posts to embarrass others so they've been sabotaging the platform for a while, "public platform" and freedom of speech my ass

I lost my /m/ folder but Yasuhiro Moriki has some really cool drawings on his Twitter for things like a 70s-style mecha base, a Sonic X airship with a Thunderbird 2 runway, and a bunch of racecars from a cancelled anime. I don't use Twitter anymore so I can't find them. Thanks for the thread; lineart and cancelled designs are really cool.
