I was playing Gundam Battle Universe doing a pure Feddie run, just finished the Titans campaign, and got faced with this choice for UC 0088. But I'm sitting here thinking about it, and here's my question: did any Titans pilot join the AEUG after Gryps?
Does it even make any sense for a Titans pilot to join the AEUG? Especially given the game has you participate in G3 gassing operations. Would the AEUG even accept such a pilot? It seems like Neo Zeon is just the more sensible pick, with the option of going back to the EFF later like Yazan.
>>23320415 (OP)There must be some Titans pilots who were stuck in the in-between of "being a good enough pilot/soldier that the Titans wanted you" and "having enough sense to realize the whole Titan thing wasn't a good idea". Sometimes it's best to do what you're told, especially when you've got Yazan going round squeezing your balls or the Titans higher ups wanting to keep everyone and anyone involved with Operation Stardust very close by.
>>23320415 (OP)A lot of titans were supposedly rolled back into the proper federation forces after the gryps conflict. That said, I haven't heard of many who went AEUG during the First Neo-zeon war. However, if you're role playing a sincere Anti-Zeke Titan then the logical choice is joining the AEUG because they fight Zekes. That's the mental gymnastics to get there. If you're role playing a war criminal might makes right titan, then Neo-Zeon. Several titans joined also joined Neo Zeon in canon, so it's a clear choice too.
>>23320440Some media brings this up. The few that did want to join by this point were pretty much barred from it due to pressure. Some would be allowed to join some time after, though many had their names changed or were given low priority jobs with little chance of career advancement.
>>23320449True to real life racists, the Titans kind of respected Zeon for also being racist.
>>23320415 (OP)>did any Titans pilot join the AEUG after Gryps? After Gryps the Titans were dissolved and the pilots were rolled back into the normal federal forces. There wouldn't be a big point in joining the AEUG since the federation was back to normal and funding was returned to the normal forces.
>>23320449A lot of Scirrocoโs followers ended up in Neo-Zeon after the Gryps conflict since they were already half-way in ideologically at that point.
>>23320470I've always thought that at least some members of the Titans are spacenoids themselves who either wanna suck up the Federation so they don't get gassed or because they were from a colony that Zeon destroyed. It does happen with real-life paramilitaries like this.
With the Argama limping away after Gryps, I think Bright would be quite happy to have a Titans mega ace on his side at that moment.
>Oh... Oh, YOU were the one that shot down the Zeta and Hyaku Shiki all those times??
>You want to fight FOR us now?!
>Thank God, our only pilot is Fa, welcome aboard
>If anyone asks, you were always with the AEUG
>>23320415 (OP)Make a new char just for this, then use your OG char for the CCA era.
Your OG pilot took a vacation.
Canonically a bunch of titans MS show up alongside neo zeon forces, and then there's also the end of Z:ANT where Haman says she expects titans survivors to join them because I guess they would rather not go back to the federation to face desertion charges at best and treason charges at worst
>>23321309Yeah, it seems some ex-Titans joined up with her.
>>23320415 (OP)>Does it even make any sense for a Titans pilot to join the AEUG?Who do you think Emma was?
>>23323327There are two words after that
>>23320491It doesn't need to be ideological. It can just be a
>The Federation kicked me out once, I'm not going back. I'll join Mars Zeon.like with the 0083 characters.
