So... what was Haman's plan in case Axis didnt hit square in the middle of ABQ and split it in two? That thing was also an asteroid fortress and Haman's plan was to ram NZ's biggest Civilian sector against it.

Why would it not hit there? It's all math, you can predict how an object will move in space.

At that point they're still called Axis Zeon, not Neo Zeon. The civilians live in a separate structure called Moussa, another smaller round asteroid tethered to Axis. Moussa was detached and kept safely away from the fighting when Axis was used as a ramming weapon.

Well, the target doesn't have any engines, so it can't really move out of the way. Even if Axis somehow still misses, Haman isn't about to apologize and try again, so the rest of Zeta plays out mostly the same except the Titans are stronger. Maybe the AEUG and Axis Zeon alliance stays on the table a bit longer until they somehow manage to weaken the Titans, or something like that.
