Safe answer but it's true, I just like Zone of the Enders 2. ... I didn't intend to rhyme. Not that time.

Armored Core 3: Silent Line.

If there was a bundle including all of Armored Core 3 and 3:SL on one disk, I'd be a happy man.

>mw4m
you beat me to it. there isnt anything more /m/ than playing a mech game using some kind of joystick peripheral with a throttle and different buttons and shit. Mw4 vanilla when it came out left a huge impression on me as i was young at the time and i made the foolish assumption we would be getting mainstream joystick mech videogame kino forever

It's cool but it's a waste to use it just for tank controls, which is an extremely niche concept outside of the mechwarrior games. There's plenty of other interesting control schemes to explore.

how and why is it a waste? are you the guy i was talking to? did you even play mw4 or mw4m? how would you have improved the controls? you twist the joystick to move in a different direction. you can still circle strafe. the joystick added to the immersion of the game. there is not way mw4 is more fun without a joystick than with it in terms of immersion.

twist to aim* move the stick to change course* if you used an xbox controller or something it would just feel like mechassault. (fun game but not immersive)
