[Asherah Noa has been touted as a miracle child to the AEUG and Federation. With her being granted the rank of Rear Admiral and being given Command over a Nahel Argama of her own to command, Asherah will be deployed to aid in the spearhead attack on Neo Zeon territory. Mortified over this decision, Bright Noa has voluntarily stepped down from the AEUG to supervise the Londo Bell organization. (Bright is now on a mission)]

While the AEUG focus's its efforts on rearmament, the newly formed Londo Bell organization bases itself on the damaged Luna II base, with the Dogos Giar-Class "Blex Forer" serving as the flagship of the new unit. While testing the new model S-Gundam given to the organization as a sign of good faith, Sayla observes news of the Gundam Team, along with the use of Asherah Noa as an Admiral in the AEUG's forces.

Settling herself into the Captains seat of the Nahel Argama, Asherah feels the memories of Brights many fleet engagements flowing through her thoughts.

In one blinding flash of absolute power and destruction, over 30 Neo Zeon Mobile Suits are annihilated, along with Yuri Kellerne's Gwadan being fatally damaged.

The more I think about it the more accurate comparing Asherah to Alia Atreides from the Dune novels is. Asherah is able to act as a psychic gestalt merging and consuming the souls of both the living and dead.

I think that Kuzco meant her to literally and metaphorically carry the wills of all of humanity in her. That was her idea of a utopia, literally feeding people's souls and their talents to her daughter so she'd become a perfect being, a messiah. She's a parasite if she's feeding off the living but if it's the dead she's an opportunistic predator at worst and a carrion scavenger at best.

My concern in that if she starts justifying indulging herself instead of learning self control, she might start sliding back to becoming a parasite or worse, an active predator.

1.Every time soul shit comes up in these runs (and gundam in general) the second unnatural stuff happens to the soul that isnt the concept of understanding etc. usually bad stuff happens.
2.Asherah isn't an MS pilot, she's a rear admiral. Chances are she'll be fine as long as she isn't fighting a gundam MKV in the White Base. We have top tier aces like Judau here who will prevent the ship from becoming hamburger.

I'd rather trust struggling since that'll lead to less insanity than whatever kuzco did to asherah.

What made up my mind beyond doubt is that the "compromise" option is honestly the opposite of what I would want as a middle ground.

As much as the contrarian in me would like to split up the deployment of the Ex-S and the Neros, it just makes the most sense to give it to Kowen along with sending them to clean up Beecha. Gundam Team's strong enough, and Karaba and La Vi En Rose teams don't really have any notable aces iirc, so we may as well hand it to Bernie. Kowen's probably the best "middle of the road" option to send as again, Karaba's understaffed and this sort of cleanup is frankly beneath the Gundam Team unless we WANT to try and bring back Beecha, which I don't care to. Plus, we might have to deal with the Londo Bell task force, and even if Hayato survives the NZ engagement, I'd be a little doubtful of the LB one if it comes to that.

That said, all of these are pretty solid. I'm honestly a little tempted to just start turning as many people as possible into newtype vampires since this run's already pretty chaotic. Only problem is the increased chance of eating rotten souls. The soul merge is tempting as well for the Haman and Kamille paralel, but I can't help but feel that these two being anchored to one another won't be good in the future if one goes off the deep end or dies,. Because I have a feeling Asherah at the very least with what we've set up for her is either going to die from not eating enough souls or become a big problem when she eats too many/evil souls. And if Judau dies or loses it because of Leina dying somehow, he'll probably take her down with him.
