Is there something like Gatchaman Crowds but less fucking schizo?
I like the whole thing of a group of normal people saving the town from mundane threats and the town coming together to help, but Crowds was a bit too off the chain

Quite a paradox, since the basic premise can be applied to, say, a cop or firefighter show. There is always needs to be a 'anormal' hook.
