I'll begin Ben Wooder from Zeta Gundam
He was amusing as hell to watch, the man is a complete utter adrenaline junkie. He's supposed to be a commander instead he deploys directly on the ground as a special ops hunting AEUG , sends Four away on a day off and decides to launch in the Psyco Gundam himself and on a whim goes everyone evacuate the Audhumla, i'm launching a kamikaze attack.

Rewatching 0079 recently I realized Job John is never referred to by name until right before Ryu dies. In hindsight the promotion of this random background character foreshadows it.

This is why 0083 really pissed me off. It purports to be about the formation of the Titans but it chucks it all the way at the back with a stupid-as-shit conspiracy that makes the Titans make less sense instead of more. Zeta Titans were a homegrown Fed COIN group that was the logical conclusion of the themes that 0079 already explored about the Feds' chauvinism and militarism growing as a result of the OYW. 0083's only interesting contribution is the Titans being born out of an aggressor squadron (explaining their Zeke gear in Zeta) but nothing else.

It was mainly the mechanics and bridge crew who left. And the bridge crew hesitated until Wooder demanded they leave. These guys stayed and they're all Titans even though they have normal uniforms. Ben Woder was the captain of the ship and they were under him. There are a few other Titans who wear normal federation uniforms too in the earlier episodes.

IIRC Wooder, Buran, and their crew were originally from the Augusta Labs base which was absorbed by the Titans. Maybe they just modified their uniforms to stay true to their roots? Buran also had a custom uniform showing his pilot suit colors

He gave everyone the business. It took Amuro and Kamille to finally take him out, even if Amuro probably could have done it alone. Motherfucker was giving everyone a harder time than Rosamia and Gaplant and he was flying an outdated flying brick. If he had the Anksha or something just a little more modern with the transforming movable frame he probably would have ended the show right by episode 20.
