I was honestly surprised that even though it predates Gundam 00 by about half a year, it touches on very similar themes and plot outlines, both being very post-9/11 Middle-East-minded.

It's also interesting how Dancouga is basically called to warzones to always aid "the losing side", thus creating a neverending war by equaling the playingfield each time.

Nova always interferes with whatever side of a war is losing. Almost seemingly like it's interested in keeping wars going longer.
