Who was suppose to be the original pilot of the rx78 and who the pilot before Aumro?

Secondly, if the origin is consider an alt timeline of UC which it is, how does it affect the sequels to the original gundam? I know thunderbolt takes pace in a alt timeline, and seen all mainline UC material but only read the origin up to Vol 4 (you can spoil). However I don't see where the origin sets up or contradicts the ascending sequels ahead of its timeline. I do also know the og ending of gundam with the shaved pubes.

William Kemp, he has a brief cameo on the OVAs and a short mention on the manga.

It does not.

The ORIGIN is a modern retelling of the original series by character designer and animation director Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, it changes several elements of Universal Century lore- such as Haro being a mass produced toy, the development history of Mobile Suits, the rise of Zeon. Characterization is so heavily altered, Sayla’s more of a tough girl, Amuro’s introverted and reclusive nature is upped to eleven leading to moments where he acts like a jerk to Fraw Bow. Bright is twenty-five rather than nineteen. Char’s backstory and characterization is severely different. The ORIGIN also has an epilogue which contradicts Zeta Gundam especially regarding Amuro’s progression as a character.
