Not exactly where else to post this, but I've been a lurker for a few years on /m/ and I'm doing a playtest of my card based super robot ttrpg. It follows a 'mech as divine' philosophy, with lots of horror elements. It's heavily inspired by getter robo and ideon. The game takes place in the setting of my previous game(which was also very /m/). The tldr is that in a metal music inspired world you're superhuman martial artists from varying super ideologically driven dystopian/utopian nations all part of a galactic Federation, and have joined said Federation for the galaxy's defense against both its own members and the Entity, a sentient biomass that has consumed the entire rest of the universe and surrounds the galaxy.

The system is built around stylish combat, with a style meter, fully buildable mechs like mekton zeta, a very good more gundam and macross adjacent ttrpg, making pilots matter(not being tested at the moment), and fully tying combat with rp(not being tested at the moment), and a reactive base(not being tested at the moment). The test will be a pure combat scenario.

Pilots do not matter for this current test, but you will still need to make a golem. This should be done before the game, as it takes some time. As multipilot golems are possible, you may want to collaborate with another player for one.

My timezone is EST. Possible times are for weekdays, anytime after 8:15 PM, or before 1:00 PM. For weekends, I am completely free and will need to hear from you. I'm currently aiming for a weekend game after 3pm. Game will be in my discord server, and we'll use Tabletop Sim for the game and discord for VC. I'll post a link to the server if anyone is actually interested.

Also will mech creation be as convoluted as Mekton Z? Will reflex be the GOD stat here too?
Also, that's a neat sketch! You should trace the final lines with a fineliner for it to pop more IMO, if you consider the subject to be finished. The tail makes me think of Genesic GaoGaiGar

i meant adjacent as in that it's meant to tell similar stories with similar settings, though obviously it has its super robot and other, differently themed expansions.

It is very complicated, you can make a combining mech, a multipliot, one that transforms, or some combination of the above. Then you want to figure out the spiritual elements of the mech, before moving on to the physical such as its size, engine, stats, main parts, sub parts, equipped weapons(like a sword or gun), integrated weapon(beam eyes or a rocket punch), and then you still need to assign cards. Finally, you pick an abnormal ability for it, which would be like flooding the entire map with boiling blood. It is very in depth.

Ideally, there's no god stat. but if I had to say which one is the closest, it'd either be Violence for being a flat damage increase to everything you do, or Evasion which is your 'agile defense' stat. Most enemies can't actually damage you, so avoid damage is more avoiding getting piled with status effects. i do have a cleaner and digital sketch of another design

Bump just because this is OC. I don't care for TTRPG's but I've always felt like there should be more mecha ones. I hope you can get some feedback here, but if you haven't tried already I think /tg/ has an occasional giant robot thread going where some people might wanna help. But it is /tg/ and nobody there actually plays traditional games.

Sounds more like a combo closer to VOTOMS and Aquarion than Getter and Ideon. Not trying to be mean OP, I'm just glancing over what you said about the setting.

i've never actually seen aquarion but i can see what you mean by VOTOMS. the main reasoning for those two is that the mechs have a will of their own and that the base is essentially haunted and something that needs to be managed. i have a link to the previous(bad) game if you're more interested in the lore of the setting and what a pilot would look like though
