The chapter ends with a flashback 4 years prior. Where our protagonist is talking to his (now) love interest. I gonna bet chapters 2 and beyond are all the events leading up to the current events. This chapter didn't bother explaining what the aliens are and how they fucked everything up. So the next chapters are gonna be exposition, I assume.

It seems like he gets to bone and knock up the main girl (an idol ballerina) but I'm failing to see any reason for their relationship other than self-insert wish fulfillment.
Others have brought it up, but it feels like narou-kei light novels so far.
