Better than the nonsensical squiggles that Kenneth dude put down and pretends is supposed to be his name. Shit doesn't even have enough of what is supposed to be letters.

Looks like he signs his name as K->H and just doesn't fill in the letters in between.

What matters more for a signature is a consistent style pattern.

Signatures should always be legible. It's lazy and low class to just make some random lines and call it a signature. Gigi there has the right idea. Hell, even Hathaway's chicken scratch is preferable.

It makes more sense when you realize that senior officers like Colonels have to sign a dozen different documents a day. On a slow day.

Like Gigi's? I think they're doing a character bit.

As someone who gets lots of physical signatures constantly as part of my job, nobody fucking makes legible signatures anymore. They just do one or two letters and a squiggle. Hell I started doing that once I learned nobody cares and taking the time to neatly write your name is just wasted effort. It's to the point where if I forget someone's signature I can just do an illegible scribble and people will accept that as the actual person signing it.

A fucking circle can count as a legally binding signature you stupid idiot, the only thing that matters is that on an individual basis the signature is recognizably the handiwork of that person.

Wasn't it said the instruction given to the artist for the handwriting was "a severely mentally ill man barely holding on"?
Dude is on the verge of having a mental breakdown 24/7, Hathaway is a fucking mess.

Why do modern Gundam creators focus on superficial and meaningless nonsense like this?

We never cared before about how Amuro, Char, Kou Uraki, Kamille, Heero Yui, Domon Kashu, Setsuna F Seiei, etc all signed their names.

Setsuna's signature is just going to be a crude portrait of Exia anyway.

Because Japan has a superficial and meaningless existence now. Hathaway especially because it's an old novel that 80s Gundamfags in Japan all read and they're boring old men now.

It's just graphology ala pseudo-psychoanalysis based on handwriting
